We invade the leafy & luscious surrounds of Hyde Park again for an RTR styled vibe on a December’s Day.
For the fourth time, we takeover the beautiful Hyde Park in North Perth for Seriously Sound System. This year the festival will again showcase a stack of great local DJs and live acts for your dancing pleasure.
Head down from Midday until 10pm on Saturday December 22 for some sublime underground sounds in one of the best settings in Perth.
The whole event is an “outside broadcast” which means that there will be no Underground Solution this week, not in its typical form anyway. If you can make it down, the uNdErGrOuNd SoUnD SoLuTiOn SyStEm (4 decks, 2 CDJs, 2 mixers, 2 samplers and an Apple) makes its debut live on-stage from about just after 7PM.
The performance should be transmitted live to air and the ‘net so you can still listen even if you can’t make it. Hopefully, I can grab a recording and get it online here for you - stay tuned and come down to Hyde Park and say hello!

Finally got a copy of uNdErGrOuNd SoUnD SoLuTiOn SyStEm’s debut set from Seriously Sound System 2007, unfortunately, it was an absolute shambles…
1) There was a seriously shitty sound system snafu for the first 20 minutes of the set.
2) Over-zealous RTR staff/presenters basically blabbed over 65% of the set that wasn’t affected by the glitch.
